Work on your server

Use SSH terminals alongside an SFTP explorer. Open multiple terminals, edit and transfer files, and keep frequently used servers and folders in your favorites.

Edit projects on your device

Create a local project or open a folder from Files in place. Work with multiple code tabs, syntax highlighting, find and replace, quick open, and the command palette.

Use Ctrl, Alt, arrow keys, PgUp, PgDn, and function keys from the special keypad. Reuse commands with snippets and view images, videos, and PDFs in editor tabs.

Find and install extensions from Open VSX, then open them in your workspace. SSH workspaces use the runtime on your chosen server; local workspaces use the capabilities supported on your device.

Available features depend on the APIs and runtime each extension requires. Check the publisher and access scope before activating an extension.
